Charles Lindbergh's Epic Flight
Win Perkins, a real estate appraiser who specializes in airport properties, has posted on his Web site a video he created of Charles Lindbergh's famous and risky takeoff in the Spirit of St. Louis .. According to Perkins, this is unlike any other presentation of the takeoff footage. Perkins said he "painstakingly assembled news footage from five cameras that filmed Lindbergh's takeoff from Roosevelt Field, Long Island " and "mixed it with enhanced audio from the same newsreel sources."
This is one of the most interesting videos I've seen come over the Internet. When you click on the address, episode #3 comes up ready to play. I suggest you first click on "Contact" to the left and select #1, then watch them in order, #1 through #4. I was glued to the screen through all 4. What guts it took for Lindbergh to overcome the odds against him and accomplish this amazing feat.

Spitfire Giant Scale
Viewer's Comment:-
Superb flying of a outstanding warbird, it was like watching the real thing it was so scale-like, it even made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! (I don't have many on my head) ;O)
Builder's Comments:-
It does feel great!!!! I remember as a young boy going to the LHS and looking at the sureflite foam spifire. Then going home and getting a wood yard stick and thinking how big it was at 39". Who would of thought 30 years later I would have a 1/4 scale one and be on the internet. What's the internet???

EAA WW1 Replica Homebuilts
have always been fascinated by WW-I aviation. Check out my Red Baron song on the "BicyclingGuitarist" channel here on YouTube. The lyrics and images are historically accurate, and the song rocks! I wrote it on a bicycle, lol.
btw, my mother's family is from the Kansas City area: the Hentzen and Laforge clan.
